I've always felt any knife is a survival knife if you've got survival skills. If you don't, no hollow handle will let you thrive in the woods, and 3 inches of sawteeth aren't going to be felling any trees.

So, for me? A Model 5 and a hatchet are what I bring to the woods, so I guess I'd be in favor of a set like that.
