Photos always help and, many times when we do something like this, a topic like this pushes folks to learn how to post photos onto our forum. Maybe this guide will make it easier for non-posters to now post their pictures easily...

Great topic Cap. Well this didn't take me very long to figure out which are my Top 3. I've posted these before in different threads but they keep coming back. This is the series of 3 knives known as the Christian Men's Knives as a testament of faith. There were 5 sets made, I know Chief has a set as well. The first knife "Christian Soldier" is a 19-5, SS, N/S hilt, all black spacers, shop ironwood, fingergrips, N/S buttcap, name engraved as well as Christian Soldier. It is furnished with a Gutcher custom black basket weave sheath with the cross concho. A custom Robbins zippered case also was made for this knife. The second knife "Good Shepherd" is a 3-7, SS, N/S hilt, all black spacers, Chief supplied the buckeye burl, N/S buttcap. Also the same sheath and case was made for this knife.
The third knife "Armor Of God" is a bit unique. Each 12-8 Bear Bowie was configured differently. I chose crown stag for mine. Photo of the others included.
It's a wonderful set that I'd like to take with me in the next life. Hope you like them.

What would your "Top 3" be? One of mine would have to be a Model #14 or a #15 with STAINLESS STEEL hilt! (Tried to get Dirty Water to agree to this a couple of times, but he was adamant that it is a no-go.) So, I made one (sort of). I took the scale handles off an earlier model Astro, and in their place is now a slotted block of Tenite-color G-10. It just makes me want a REAL one that much more.

What would your "Top 3" be? ... explain why and how you have arrived at your choices. Another of mine would be a Model #7. Captain Chris, can you please let me know when the first "fishing knife build" (Model 7, #6 grind, black/red micarta) is expected to be ready for me? Thanks.

1. A model one, preferably 8 inch blade. No explanation needed for this one, I think. 2. Combat Companion, sturdy backup for the #1, many chores easier with the 5" blade. 3. The Triathlete, with or without handle material, concealable, sturdy, I love the way they feel in hand, especially with scales. 4. Don't leave home without one.

Interesting discussion, I like it! My Choice: 1) 10-5. I use it for everything, very successful model and very strong 2) 14-7.5 with single hilt. Stainless or O-1 - It does not matter, both are good for their main application 3) 3-5 with stag, fg, wt, compass. I had this but no compass, I exchanged with a friend, he really wanted him the same way. The whole picture is gone, there is only half with a blade

Well my favourite is my 18 5.5 in O1, its the first Randall I ever saw, in a book as a kid, never thought I would ever get to own one because I live in New Zealand and I figured that by the time I ever manage to get the money together to travel to Florida USA to buy a knife Bo Randall would be long dead and buried and the Randall would be a thing of history, well that longing never went away and Lo and behold because the Internet and The Randall family tradition I eventually managed to get my very own 18 (thanks Capt). Second would be my little 10-3, damn handy little thing, love it to death.
My third is yet to be decided, I do rather fancy a Sasquatch, or a little 26...27 is kind of funky, the 28 looks very practical...it's the fun of trying to decide that keeps me coming back and drooling over the pictures you guys post!
