This was an interesting challenge. After giving it some thought, here are my top 3 Randall knives:
1. Smithsonian Bowie. This is a relatively new addition to the collection, but I fell in love with it instantly. An awesome beast of a knife with a great stag handle. Holding this monster, you can't help but feel ready to defend the Alamo!
2. Model 5-5" BearCamp Special. The Model 5-5" is, to me, a beautifully designed all-round camp and trail knife. The BearCamp configuration makes it just about perfect (gotta love those teeth on the 5" blade). Now, if I could only bring myself to actually use it. 3. Model 28. I love this sturdy little knife. It has easily handled every camping chore that I've ever asked it to do, and I prefer it over the Model 5 for heavier duty projects.
Runner up to the top 3 was the Model 19. Another RMK which was beautifully designed and works well for a multitude of different tasks (I usually have a Model 19 with me on a daily basis).
