I do not own any of these, but I have handled two of the three in person and a different Commando. So this is my current wish list:

WW2 Commando

Fighter thought to have been finished by William Scagel - No proof, but wouldn't that be cool?

The Okie.....

Capt, I bet you have a top 3 for every model! How about your top 3 "carry" gamblers?

Here's my "top 3"...

1) Warren's collection
2) tunefink's collection
3) Captain's stash

(Wally's stash is nothing to sneeze at, either)

laugh

Humor aside, my fav is the one the Captain talked me into buying about a year ago at the Tulsa show.. the RKCC club knife.

Rob,

Perhaps you're not familiar with Guido's collection. Thanks for the accolades but mine pales in comparison. Oh and lets not forget TT Bill & GC Tom's super collections and the many more that we rarely hear about.

This was an interesting challenge. After giving it some thought, here are my top 3 Randall knives:

1. Smithsonian Bowie. This is a relatively new addition to the collection, but I fell in love with it instantly. An awesome beast of a knife with a great stag handle. Holding this monster, you can't help but feel ready to defend the Alamo!

2. Model 5-5" BearCamp Special. The Model 5-5" is, to me, a beautifully designed all-round camp and trail knife. The BearCamp configuration makes it just about perfect (gotta love those teeth on the 5" blade). Now, if I could only bring myself to actually use it. For me, when I'm looking for a camping knife, it's a Model 5 or a...

3. Model 28. I love this sturdy little knife. It has easily handled every camping chore that I've ever asked it to do, and I prefer it over the Model 5 for heavier duty projects.

Runner up to the top 3 was the Model 19. Another RMK which was beautifully designed and works well for a multitude of different tasks (I usually have a Model 19 with me on a daily basis).

It has taken me a while to get some pics for this thread.

The first picture is of the two RMK that I use a EDC. I carried the Model 21 a fair amount, but not so much the 5-4. But I got a Hi Ride sheath for the 5-4 a week or so ago and will carry the 5-4 more.

The second picture is of some Low S Model 5's. The pinned Old Brown got thrown in for no good reason. I have a couple hand fulls of Separate S 5's. They are great, but Low S 5's is what I really like.

The Cap said the Top 3 knives. Well I did not include a third picture, as I don't have my 3rd top knife. That is a SS marked Model 5. I know where there is one, but it is not for sale. The dream continues!!

My service 14 will always be my favorite - it stays in it's own category. Other than that one I would say any Model 1 because it's the Model 1. My 5-8 because I love that 8" blade and choil. The 19 has become my favorite hunter and the unique blade shape / grind lines really stand out in the crowd. I'm sure whatever I buy next will have to be one of my top 3 also..
