Best, Capt. Chris

Carbon steel and we can go with Tom's specs, correct?? Seems like a better use of the option limit to me.......

Chief,

I am seeing a trend in all of your recent pic's; black spacers matter-ehh!

"Sad, but true. I really don't see any point in voting on it when we could be moving this build along.

Actually Jerry: This build is "moving" quite well, I think. Part of the reasoning behind me starting these builds, some 12 years ago...or so, was to throw around ideas, see what members liked and didn't like but, most importantly, to help people understand what "could" and "could not" be done when putting that perfect Randall knife together for yourself. I have received many, many emails, pm's, texts and phone calls, over the years, telling me how these builds have done...just that!
Some questions are better answered by finding out what "cannot" (or "should not") be built, rather than what "can". All of the information gathered moves us all in a better, if not ideally what we want, direction. The best direction, like it or not, is when the journey gains us knowledge.
Best, Capt. Chris

Hey Capt.,

That bottom knife with the stag handle is a beauty! Not everyone is right handed though, so could they make the stag handle more "Ambidextrous" and maybe throw in a wrist thong hole in the butt cap?

The wrist thong would be an "option" so on that particular knife, something else would have to be subtracted...Stainless , Brass spacers, thumb notches. One of those would have to go..

Actually 2 options in that case, cause it's a 6 option knife. No longer doable.

I prefer a carbon steel blade for the ease of sharpening, so for me, the stainless blade would have to go……

ETA:

I could also forego the brass spacers if I had too……grin

One could go with all black or red spacers at no charge, too.
