The idea has been raised that the newsletter be converted to an electronic format - AKA - Email.

It would still have color pictures, articles and could easily be printed at home for reading.

I have heard the arguments that many people do not use the internet, but I challenge that. When Janie was building the database, all but a few had email addresses. If there are a dozen old school guys that need a paper copy... mail those, not 800 others.

Please speak up..... Yea or Nay??

I like the opportunity to have that as an option, so I would cast a vote in "yes please make that happen."

That said, I still prefer a paper version for myself.

Rick Turbeville and I are in the process of making that happen! Members will be given a "Password" to gain access to "all" issues of "KNIFE KNEWS" off of the club's website. It's not "if"...but "when" at this point. Just FYI (all members) I have received 30 newsletters back, for one postage problem or the other!?
...More to come.
Thanks, Capt. Chris
PS: I don't know why anyone would want to copy one, once they have all the issues, at a glance, from their monitors...CCS

a .PDF file works for me. It would also make things easier for me. My mailbox is quite a walk. No monitor in my bathroom. hehehe

P.S. No worries, but I am still waiting for my newsletter.

...I paid my 2017 RKCC dues a couple weeks ago..no membership card or notice that it was recieved...I have not recieved the Newsletter.

I don't know how many we are supposed to get a year...but usually I only recieve one a year ..a month or so after Blade show.

If my opinion counts I would rather have the PDF delivery with password...and a small reduction in club dues.

Respectfully, Rex Buckner

Yours was sent, Rex...Quite some time ago. We have averaged a tad over "2" per year..."10" in total, so far.
Capt. Chris
PS: Send me an email and let's see what the problem is...CCS

Paper copy would be nice but I haven't received anything since I joined. Vote Yea for the electronic copy, it will make things easier all the way around.
Thanks
