Here's a couple of "thinkers" to aid in your decision. * Voting for brass hilts saves an option * Brass spacers will leave the handle "fuller" * Brass collars are available "smooth" or "scalloped" * Brass butt caps will make the handle a little heavy * Yes,,,,Even "thin" butt caps * OK...I'm done Think about this choice. We can't remove anything once the knife is completed. Chief (& others) make a valid point about the wood being compromised (looks-wise) with anything on the butt end of this magnificent handle. Having stated all of this, unless you need sunglasses to shade your eyes after coming out from under your "rock", you should know by now that I don't care "what" we build! Ya'll decide!
