N/S is far easier to keep than brass especially for what this knife is intended as a kitchen and fishing knife. I get the idea of the looks and option. Just my opinion.

I use mine for field dressing and skinning Whitetail deer. The hilt brass or N/S both clean up with hot water and soap. I would like to save a option. My 2 cents worth.

I don't have a problem either way, as long as we have the thumb notches and squared hilt. Let majority make the final decision.

Not going to be a big knife so you don't need a counter weight, so if you like the wood might as well leave it off.

Square hilt is ALWAYS my top choice.

Chief is right on not doing anything to mess up the natural look of the butt.

Stay brass, add thumb notches and we have 1 option left.

I'm with Pap; NS hilt squared, thumb notches, thong, black spacers.

Think we have just 2 options left Tom.

I already like it smile

- brass hilt to save an option, rounded is much more thumb friendly
- "trade mark" rwb spacer
- teardrop handle shape if possible, standard if not. It's a knife with rather "straight" lines
- thumb notches
- thong hole

Just my 2 cents
