In that shape tattoo? The epoxy n micarta plug is cracked on one side i filled it with wax to try to mitigate anymore damage to that area and ive sharpened the thing many times..haha it is very used

If you're right, Rocky, then my 1960's Model 14 may not be worth very much. I had two Randalls with me during both my Vietnam deployments--this one and a Model 1. I wore the Model 1, and did not use this 14 (that's why it looks so good today). Later I lost the split-back sheath to mildew and rot from wet-floor basement storage, so bought a replacement sheath (as you can see, small rivets and not a split-back). For dress-up, I asked Greg Gutcher to make me a new splitback with large copper rivets.

So what is the difference between my brown handle and your? I mean besides obvious color and pattern. Like material i guess is what im getting at..and how people can tell ages of knives bases on the handle
