I only ask because the stitching looks like to be brown that was used back in 1993 or so. As far as a pouch sheath goes, the #5-4" will fit perfectly in a Model #26 sheath. Try it? Nice knife, Capt. It had never been used and had a very dark patina on the brass. It is now a user. So your suggestion that it is from the early 90's is quite feasible. I'll order a 26 pouch sheath.
