Good try but not how it goes there. Your just a hosehead from Louisiana there. OH yeah just say A and be done, you know. Unless you don't know. Unless you want to know dere a, because if you wanted to know what I know dere a, you could ask dere cause you know dere's an answer somewhere but I got so caught up in the conversation I forgot what I was asking you dere a.

Let's move on crew. Stainless it'll be. Now, for a more differing opinion. We can take a day or two and discuss the following:
* 4 1/2" blade
* 5" blade
* Standard grind
* #6 grind
All have merit but I know what "I" would pick. How about you?
Thanks, Capt. Chris

I also like the 7-5", #6 grind. Looks like it would be a solid camp knife as well as fisherman's pal or kitchen tool.

Capt., thanks for the photos. Very helpful to see the difference in the lengths and grinds.

Happy Independence Day!

By the way: Happy 4th of July to all of you! Being as it is the holiday, I will not "make the call" on the choices we have, so far. Having said that: Below is a couple of pics of a pair of knives, which I have featured in prior posts. Made up at different times but "used" together, and/or in tandem, this pair has seen some serious usage over a couple of decades...(or better)!
Keep in mind, crew: A RMK Model #7-5", #6 grind, in stainless, with amboyna uses up "3" options! We only have "2" options left if this is how we are going...(just sayin')
Stay sharp, Capt. Chris
