When I lived on LI, the Costco we shopped at sold 700+ rotisserie chickens a day. All nearly 4 pounds each, that's almost 2 1/2 tons of chicken per day.

Thank you Warren! They like Costco more than I do. These 2 also love my Randall’s. Oh boy....

Heading down to my ol' hometown in eastern Long Island Tuesday. Going to Shinnecock Hills Wednesday for a US Open practice round. Love this place. Been there in 86, 95, 04 Open's. Best part got to tee it up 3 times in early 90's. If anyone is going let me know. I will post a link to pics after I return.

Could have been a weird batch, too. I buy a lot of steaks at Costco (go carnivores!) and buy USDA Prime graded steaks whenever I can -- some ribeye, some strip, some sirloin (if the wife insists).

There are times I've gotten Prime and it wasn't that good (flavor or texture) and times I've had to buy Choice and it was fantastic.

Costco is also the nations largest wine retailer. smile

The Kirkland $6 Sangria has been a big hit around the house for the last 2 weekends.

This past weekend my son bought 4 Costco choice grade ribeye steaks. As usual 2 were high choice and 2 medium/low choice. With my marinade and my son in law's Green egg, all were outrageous. Some of the best eating steaks ever from Costco.

Got to my family cottage just 3 miles from Shinnecock Hills and going to the Wednesday practice round at the US Open . Been there for all 3 since 85'. TV doesn't do this right. You have to be on property to experience it properly. Nice to get back home but happy I don't live here now but can visit anytime.

Warren,

Enjoy the Open; they say the rough is deeper than ever with all the rain we had.

Weather looks pretty good too!

Will let you know Tom. Leaving shortly. Heard the course is set-up fairly. It all comes down to putting.

Well, Myth has it that Arnold Palmers wife claimed she kissed his balls for luck. This maybe why Tiger hasn’t won since his wife left him. Enjoy all the “baba booey’s” being yelled out. ‘Hit em with the Hein” might also be yelled out.
