Totally loved the grind lines and old spacers and the fact it is not perfectly straight from handle to blade. A slight downward curve really aids in cutting. Also loved the fact the blade was dead mint and the handle had taken on a nice patina. Now the blade is hair poppin' sharp and ready to go out on adventures. I've had six of these and this one I believe is the keeper. A thicker blade than others, squared hilt that I'll actually keep square, and just feels the best in my hand. I'll take a picture of my current 5-5 with black Micarta handle and show the difference in thickness. Thought I'd throw in a picture of it with my two favorite folders. Both have bank vault lock-up with absolutely no play. The black on is polished water buffalo horn and S30V steel. Edited by Aurevoir Gopher (08/12/15 11:57 AM) _________________________

Quite a difference where the sawteeth start and finish in the two knives. After looking at the pictures, I am not sure the top knife has a Model 5 grind. The top bevel starts a lot further forward than most 5's!! Any thoughts???
