Notice it has 2 snaps; Pete Hamilton added the handle snap when I was visiting my brother in Tampa and we went to the shop. My knives and I don't live together. That way I don't have to worry about cutting my fingers!!!! Although the photos aren't good, you can see there can be a big difference in how the wood turns out after stabilzing.
