I like BP's idea for a set up.
In keeping with my personal life goals of NOT owning knives taller than me I won't have any interest in the 1. But I will play along and enjoy the knowledge gained on this build.

This's cruel James, but you left yourself open.
"Not owning knives taller than me", is that why you only own 10-3's.

I do not Walter, sorry. By the way, N-25 or B-25 handle configuration is doable...but "why"? $75.00 option charge to install my CW (customer's wood) and add another $70.00 for a "Trapper" handle, cutting the wood in half and not being able to see it all??
Just sayin', Capt. Chris

So, are we talking overall length or blade only? This could have a major impact on my future RMK purchases. ;-)

Sooner or later...we'll get back on subject. No hurry, "but", when we do. How about a "ROLL CALL VOTE". Vote for one and one only:
A) RMK Model #12-9", Sportsmans Bowie
B) #12-9"-#14 grind Sportsmans Bowie
A vote for "A" will yield us a traditional Bowie, i.e. BCP top edge and is available in "carbon steel only"!
A vote for "B" will yield a Bowie with a Model #14 (Attack) shaped blade (top edge), i.e. straight top edge, just like the 2 I posted photos of in this build's opener. Also: Carbon steel (standard) as well as Stainless steel ($75.00 option) are both doable on the #14 blade grind..."&"...I don't care "what" we make!
Thanks, Capt. Chris
PS: James has talked to me about a "Tailors Knife"...just sayin'...CCS
