All my grandsons each have a Woodman's Pal in their day packs. One of the best things I ever did was to give my siblings each a really nice day pack. Then for their birthdays and Christmas, I give them something to add to their pack. So many options to add for them, but one of the first was a Woodman's Pal. The model I like has the leather handle and metal guard.

In the aftermath of the Hurricane we're way past any knife, or axe now. On to the heavy equipment to remove lots of debris; cars, boats, trees, homes, etc. What in the world happens to all this STUFF? Mind boggling, really thinking where this is going.

Wife and I left last year for matthew, glad we did cause we got water in house from surge. Stayed this time, didn't think we would have another surge. 1:30am sun night water started rising fast. Lot was already flooded from all the rain then the surge hit. Several feet in 20 min. Started to seep in under door seals as I was watching with flashlight then stopped. Stayed that way for awhile then started going down fast, inch every few min. No house damage, yard a mess with debris of all types. Got power back Wednesday night, probably won't have tv and internet for week+. Feel very fortunate and thank God the water stopped at the door sill as many around me had a foot or more in house. My prayers to all that have been affected by this monster.
