Thanks Coach. I do remember that pic, it was a fun experience. Always trying to figure it out like everyone else. There's no right or wrong answers. Sometimes you can get extra credit for digging up some good stuff.

Well thank you but that wouldn't be in the best interest of the thread. Those knives were all custom made not rehandled.
Perhaps somewhere down the road another family photo....

When I saw the feathers figured you'd like that. But yeah, who does this relief carving right? Last few projects have incorporated similar themes by his own admission. Building a story.

The detail on the handle is outstanding. I don’t recall seeing anything as detailed as that.
That is a knife that must be displayed, IMO.
