Steve, I feel ya on the FCH vs. the model 1. I would love to have the FCH not be a chargeable option on the model 1. I never owned this knife or saw it in the flesh or I would probably own it. FCH on model 1. FCH = Fully Curved Honey in my book, just looks more Mature to me.

Okay, I am confused. The #18 Nickel Silver Hilt is available on the Model 12-9 14 Grind, but it is not available on the Model 18? That's why these builds are such an education.

I am guessing about nickel silver on the 18, there may be a problem with soldering it to the tube where the brass there is no problem with the process.
I hope Scott might see this and clear up this fake news
