Toby Wade is my nephew and this knife was stolen from him years ago. We would like to get it back and are willing to pay fair market value for it. No questions asked...
Hopefully the new owner will respond.

Hey Gary.. I emailed you at the address you posted yesterday, but didn't get a response. This would be so cool to get Tobys knive back to him.

A great example of a reason to have your RMK etched with your name. I like happy endings.

You might try to call him Charlie. Phone number is on his website.

Oh, cool.. thanks for the tip.. this story is weirder than I can mention at the moment. I want to make sure Toby gets his knife back first and then I'll tell you the whole story.

This is such a cool story!

Congrats Toby, Gary and Charlie on reuniting long lost knife with its original owner. I can't wait to read the rest of the tale.

And, I have to say, the below quote is the funniest comment I have read in a long while. I felt the same way about the tale at that point, but so glad it all worked out. It might have been how I was feeling that day, but it literally made me laugh out loud. Thanks.

Always great to read where something good like this works out. I'm sure lots of us would love to see "before and after" shots, if the shop restores it for you, Wade. I bet either way, your knife will be treasured even more, after it's mystery absence.

After you get your knife back, it would be nice to see you hang around more often Toby. Charlie too; we're always looking for new members. Glad to see how things worked out for both of you.
