Do like I did and look for one of the Colt 1911's or 1911A1's that Colt made a reproduction run on. Mine says US Army on it. I like it better that the GI ones and it is 100% Colt. oldguy

I have a 1911 with all the correct parts. Last date on the slide is 1913. The finish is about 85-90 NRA. Has the correct mag. I might be willing to part with it for the right price. I can't seem to find any pics of it right now. I will take some and post them here. These pics are not the best but I took them freehand on my computer desk with not the best lighting.
