I picked up a really nice Springfield 1911 at Tulsa Gun Show on Saturday.
A guy said he needed some money for IRS and let it go very cheap.
I've run 5 8 round magazines & 2 10 round magazines through it without a hitch.

Walmart had a box of 100 rounds Remington 230 grain JHP on sale for $39.99.
So that's all I've shot through it so far.
No jams, ejects every time, Shoots very sweet!

Coach, Have you thought about changing out the main spring housing to a flat one. It'll get you deeper in the gun for a better grip. You picked up a nice shooter. Also might want to polish the feed ramp and inside the throat of the barrel.

I will be studying on what all to do with it. So, keep it coming.
Right now, I’m thinking Crimson Trace grips and maybe a Beveled Magwell.

Were it mine, and it functioned like it was supposed to, I'd just shoot it and enjoy it. It's a nice looking piece, and I really like those grips. Good score, Coach.
