A guy said he needed some money for IRS and let it go very cheap. I've run 5 8 round magazines & 2 10 round magazines through it without a hitch. Originally the 1911 was made with a flat main spring housing but was changed to an arched one for better target acquisition. I guess that it is mainly a matter of choice as to what feels and works best for the individual. Wayne _________________________ Top Dog

The grips sound like a good idea but again,in my opinion,you really don't need a beveled magwell. The piece operates pretty darn good as JMB designed it. Wayne _________________________ Top Dog
