Yep Navy Boot Camp mid 60's trained on M1 Garand's, M1 Carbines (before M-16's were issued - they came later), Colt 1911's, BAR's, and Ma Deuces. No outrage calling a magazine a clip, but you better not call your rifle a gun - got to run around the base with the Garand held high chanting the ditty above. Times change and traditions are different.

Wayne Yes I have a Glock 20. It holds 15 in the mag. I switched the plastic guide rod to a stainless one. Also went with the extended mag release button, extended slide take-down lever, Pyramid trigger, and Tru-glo sights.

Re: David & "times change & traditions....." Hell yes. And Wayne & Pap: my brand new Glock 20 is what I just brought home a buck with & posted some poor pictures on this & the other thread. I bought it to deer hunt with.....& maybe spring Gobblers, so knew I'd be putting the red dot on it. Looked for a rig to carry it comfortably in without success, so had my tailor-friend sew the one I have and am very pleased with. Spend a couple months looking, calling, ordering & returning holster-rigs is a great way to design your own when nobody makes anything to fit. I truly believe the best way to carry your handgun when hunting is in your hand.....just need to rest your arm/hand sometimes. I'm tickled to death with this Glock. Anything the red or green dot is on is going down.

Pap, I'm shooting the stock 17 # RSA in my G20, no issues. Are you using a different spring? Wondering if stiff Buffalo Bore, Double Tap ammo, would shoot better with a 20# or heavier spring? Lots of opinions out there but would prefer someone I trust.

I shoot the cheapest ammo I can find. The latest is Sellier & Ballot 180 gr FMJ. My 20 digests them all. Never had a jam so far.

Well I hear ya, 10MM can be a pricey shoot. I change to a 40 S&W barrel for range work. I'm more concerned that the barrel is in battery long enough with heavy loads. I'm also shooting a 6" barrel for hunting. Does a 20#+ spring make a difference in accuracy?

I really am liking this model 20 too fellows. That S&B load is about $16.00 for a box of 100 from "Cheaper than Dirt" Pap. I'm just glad I've reloaded for so long. Besides saving $$, I enjoy it. Handgun hunting is just plain fun too and I'm really glad I added this Glock to my hunting guns. Are you using any type of scope, red dot, etc. Warren? I'm really pleased with the red dots on my S&W 629 (mag-na-ported) & now on this one.
