I think it's interesting that the stock trigger pull on the 34 is 4.5 lbs. whereas most all the other stock Glock models are 5.5 lbs. Obviously 4.5 is better for range accuracy. I wish I could try both side-by-side to feel the difference.

If the new trigger would have come out before they wouldn't have been such a hands down loss to Sig.

Takes time to understand the short reset trigger. It's part of the Glock DNA.

The 320 beat or matched glock on price, better trigger, easier to clean/ repair/ change size.
But the trigger that's in the new glock didn't come out till after the contract bid.
Sig also came in with a price that was way below the norm for them.
But I would have to say that the trigger was what hurt them the most. that and I don't think that they were expecting Sig to come after the contract so aggressively.

I just put money down on a Glock 43 (single-stack 9mm).

I wanted a small frame in 9mm (already have 9mm pistols) and something that would go bang rather reliably.

I plan on flying with this pistol (gun-friendly states only, obviously), paperwork and all that. I'd rather not fly with "collectible" pistol that would be difficult to replace (e.g. Sig P225 imported from Austria).

Up next, a crossbreed holster!

Edit Reason: P225 not P229

You will be happy with it Rob! It carries great and is very accurate for such a short barrel.
Now if they would just make that frame in .357 SIG!!!!

Yeah, no .40 or .357 Sig.

I wanted 9mm anyway, minimize the number of reloading dies. smile
