Some things, worth doin', take a little time. I asked some of our RKCA members to help out and "pitch-in" for a worthwhile project. I could not go into anymore details as I knew the intended frequented this forum. Well you good folks came through and, for that, I wish to thank all of you who did!
The RKCA remains penniless, by intent. When I or someone else sees a project that is deemed "worthwhile" we come together to pony-up and come up with the funds necessary for the deed at hand. Such is the case noted here.
Jimmy Bedgood has been a loyal and extremely generous benefactor, regarding the RKCC & RKCA. Many of you who have attended our annual meetings at the Blade show have witnessed Jimmy's benevolent nature, donating custom knives he has built, by hand. From "Whiskey Pete's" to fighters Jimmy has always been there with a donation...and I don't mean when he was "asked" to do it. He has done it on his own!!
Besides his loyalty to our club, Jimmy has also shown, not by words but by deeds, his loyalty and Love for his Country. 4 tours (That I know of) to the sand shows all of us, proof positive, of this fine man's devotion to duty and personified "GRIT"!
It is with the utmost pride, that I share a few photos of the award of appreciation all of us wish to render to this man, Jimmy Bedgood. It ain't enough...but it's from our heart. Safe travels, Jimmy Bedgood, and countless thanks to you from the members of the RKCA!
Good Bless you & God Bless America!
Respectfully submitted,
Captain Chris Stanaback
Founder: RKCC & RKCA
