The Model 71 was one of my bucket list Winchester list, but never found one I could afford. Closest was a Browning Model 86 45-70 copy. I put a Williams peep on it and it shot pretty good, but sold it before I ever scored a critter. I was always going to take it moose hunting but never drew here in Idaho. Always thought the 348 was a great all around Alaskan rifle. Have you taken any Alaskan critters with it?
