No nutin' about the movie but I really like that gun and I'm very fond of the 45-70. Been looking at the new stainless steel Marlins. Octagon barrel and large loop.
Brush buster in areas where I hunt. Always had success with that caliber in a single shot Contender at close range. I think you could take a tree and a deer with a 350 grainer.
