I'm thinking we need one less than 4". Would the shop make an almost 4" Model 5?

Well if a smaller knife is the preferred consideration, I'm now open to the 26 or GTR.

I personally only like the model 11 with the 5 inch blade, so if we are wanting to go with a shorter blade length, I'd say eliminate the model 11. Of the remaining knives, i like the idea of a gtr or 26. And unless we are building a knife that will primarily used for skinning, I'd say eliminate the model 4 also.

I know that I voted for the GTR for the build,but after studying the catalog for awhile, I feel the model 26 is a better choice. I always like a "pointy" tip on my outdoor knives. I feel that it would be a better all around user, than the GTR . However, owning neither knife, I would happily defer to people who own and use them both.

Has everyone forgotten an 11-3 1/4"?

I thought the 5in blade was out for this build?
