Pap's favorite steak marinade. Once you try this, you won't want to use anything else.

1 Cup Brown sugar
1 Cup Worchester sauce
1 Cup Soy sauce
1 Cup red wine
2 Tablespoons Rooster brand chili-garlic sauce

Marinade amount for 4 steaks, divide into 2 ziplocks and let them stay at room temp for 2 hours. Turn bag over ever 1/2 hour. Add more or less chili garlic sauce depending on how much heat you want. Grill on a hot BBQ to your desired doneness. Try this once and you will make it over and over.

Pap

Mine is similar Pap.

1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup soy
1 cup Jack Daniels
Ginger is optional

Better to bring to a boil till the sugar dissolves.
Cool before adding meat.
Really good on pork chops.

We had another Family Reunion today.

I grilled 3 dozen drumsticks and smothered them in sausage and hot links.

They musta liked them because there wasn't ANYTHING left!

Thanks Pap.

By the way, the “SOP” that I used on those drumsticks included some Sirachi Rooster sauce.

Nice job Coach. With all we had going on and yet to come, a spread like that is highly unlikely this year. Looking good, congrats. One of these days when I have nothing to do (LOL)........

One of the threads on here talked about Sam's Club and Costco meats.

I have to agree that their meat is the best for the buck. I've grilled or smoked just about every cut that they have and all are good.

But within Sam's Club the best meat for the buck is their Country Styled Pork Ribs. If you do 'em right, they are as good as a ribeye. Here is what I grilled yesterday for Father's Day.

Yum, looking good. I cook my country ribs in a Dutch oven and finish them off on the grill.

Sometimes the chef is not the photographer. Had 3 awesome 1.5# porterhouse steaks over hickory this evening. Miss Deb's famous sauteed mushrooms, and grilled asparagus. Too full to type. No leftovers, greatest compliments.
