Sometimes the chef is not the photographer. Had 3 awesome 1.5# porterhouse steaks over hickory this evening. Miss Deb's famous sauteed mushrooms, and grilled asparagus. Too full to type. No leftovers, greatest compliments.
4.5 lbs of porterhouse, mushrooms, asparagus, and I am sure a nice bottle of wine. No wonder you are full.
But, according to William Clark's journal of the Lewis and Clark expedition:
"Each man consumed nine pounds of meat per day, when available, and the designated hunters of the Corps were kept busy throughout the journey."
