It is interesting to see how the start of Randall Knives came about. If Mr.Randall did not see his friend using the Scagel knife scraping the bottom of a boat,we might not have any Randall Knives or club.
WW 2 was a big boost for three knife companies that I know of,Buck,Ek, and Randall.
Having a Randall Knife pretty well puts you in an exclusive club.

Thanks for the heads up. Just got a copy at Barnes & Noble! -My Wife actually picked it up for me ... (I love that they carry this mag in a store on the liberal North Shore of Long Island!).

Actually, considering it's the NY Metro area and the North Shore of Nassau County, there's quite a bit of "Us."And several clubs like mine, The Matinecock Rod & Gun Club and Mill River Rod & Gun Club and Bayville Rod & Gun Club ... all located on the North Shore. And there are more throughout Long Island.
We're keepin' the faith, Brother!
And YES, I enjoyed the article very much!
