Tune, I think you were right. The Original seller was left a negative for backing out on the $500 sale. He probably left a 0 off the original listing and it came out as $500 instead of $5000. He obviously has multiple eBay accounts.

Yes , it appears to be same seller or a family/friend from same town listing it now. The 2nd knife has K.L. initial and assuming he did not engrave/punch that on to the blade in last few days .... both knives belonged at one time to the same person .

Seller might have mixed up the knives and values since now there appears to be a sheath for the Randall fighter and the 2nd matching knife is included in the listing .

After I emailed the phiston eBayer, the Owner of these emailed me back and said his friend listed the knife incorrectly. He knows its worth a lot more than $500. If anyone is interested in buying them he is willing to listen to reasonable offers. I replied he should cancel his auction and send them to Joe for authenticating and then relist when he knows exactly what he has. He replied again he would accept any reasonable offer. I do not collect the oldies, so go get them guys!

Eric -

If I thought the fullered knife was legit, I would have it sitting here now. I have some issues with that knife to not only include the fullers, but the blade grind as well. Fullers or "blood grooves" were fairly common on some production knives as well as theater made knives during WWII, and it is more likely someone added them to this knife and it was not shop done . Without having it in hand I can't say for sure, but it may have started life as something else, perhaps a bit longer.

There is a little model 7 I think it is that has been on eBay for some time now. It has fullers yoo, which I also question.

The second knife looks as though it has been tipped and lost some length, which may also may have been the case for the fighter.

Joe, There you go, I figured you would know. That's why I suggested he send them to you to find out exactly what he does or does not have. Safe travels to all going to "Hotlanta".

Apparently the knife has been sold outside of Ebay . Seller ended listing early and stated knife as no longer available .
