Today was a fun day. This weekend is the annual Spedie Fest and Balloon Rally in nearby Otsingo Park; Google for more information. For those not familiar with a Spedie, it'a local sandwich made famous nearby. Hot air balloons launch morning and evening. During the day other events are happening. Saturday is the classic car show. Lots of categories from real old timers to muscle cars, Corvette's, Mustangs, MG's, VW's, other cool categories too. We take the ragtop to enter the event. Beats taking the off site bus and the walk in and less expensive too.
This car was best if show and rightly so. Miss Deb got to sit in the drivers seat.
Solid automobile, this 1912 Brush is a pretty rare car. The gent that owns it is local. His Grandfather bought this car in 1957 for $50. Wood frame, axles, wheels are perfect. Lights are acetylene gas lamps. There's an acetylene tank under the rear bumper. Man said probably 80 -100 still exist, most live in Australia oddly.
Here's a few pics along with a link to the drive where I posted a vid of the car running.
Oh Jake and Elwood also showed up, Lol.
