I love it! Going to let the sign-ups ride about a week just to make sure no one misses the train.

I'm backing out, FWIW.

My post above has been edited to reflect such.

23 is released back to the pool. smile

It has been fun to watch this build progress. I'm sure I'm not the only one sitting back and enjoying, without adding any input, or being able to afford such a cool knife. Good luck.

Think of it as an investment!

Actually, I definitely understand about funding issues and priorities but, at this price, a person would have no trouble at all getting their money back out of it if that became an issue.

I had one commitment come up recently that required some serious coinage.

After evaluating my other outstanding commitments (pending RMK orders, basically), I decided even if I won (and bought) this knife, I wouldn't be able to keep it for very long.

Best to give one of you guys a running chance.

10-4 on other commitments. I expect I'll be eating ramen noodles for quite a while if my number gets selected. ;-)

Don't go there Rocky. We all know every knife has many lifecycles. It's all good no matter what. You haven't seen it all yet. Who ever said otherwise. The winner just might hold on to this one. I know I would and I'm all in!

Agreed. I was just saying if it came down to it, the knife could be easily sold. Hey, it helped me talk myself into putting my number in the hat. Same line will be used with my wife if I am lucky enough to get it, assuming she even finds out about it. ;-)
