Gentleman I would first like to thank all of you who came out to see us last weekend. It's always one of the highlights of my year and this one was no exception!

I was speaking with Warren yesterday and he has made a very generous offer in regards to a new build. He can assist with the photos I'm sure, but he's offered to donate a chunk of walrus to base the build which would be quite a discounted opportunity for someone who has an affinity for these. It will absolutely be a BIG blade as it's a big piece of ivory, and whomever is drawn the winner would be purchasing a premium ivory Bowie (or whatever) at a stag price point which would be in the $875 range.

Prior to a greenlight on this build, I wanted to feel it out with you gentleman and see if there was any interest. Should this be the case we'll get the ball rolling here next week or so.

Thanks for kicking this off Grant. I'll have a few pics up this evening for review.

Here you go fellas. I've had this FWI tip for a few years and it needs to dress up a new blade.there would be some re-shaping but I think alot of the bark can be retained. As Grant mentioned I'm donating this piece so it will substantially reduced the knife cost. Would love to see this project happen if there's enough interest. Let's hear from ya.

Will it come with a Mudbone sheath? If so, I will donate a tanned beaver tail for an inlay.

Generous offer that Mud or Amy would work into magic.

A Mudbone would bring the pricepoint up another $150 for a big knife (inlay or not), but if participants don't mind that's fine with me.
