Been raining on and off all week here. Bet we had over 3" rain this week. Oh yeah the pool, that thing. I drained water off twice this week.
Big 24' round which I MIGHT use 4x a year. Hate pools, they are expensive, they leak, they suck.

104 F today with sweat poppin’ humidity and NO breeze!

I changed shirts 4 times before Noon.

On days like today, I sweat all of the water out of my body first, then I sweat ammonia, then finally, I sweat grease!

58 F at 0500 this morning; makes my black java/hot tub/yoga new, anti-arthritis ritual more tolerable.....supposed to be 90 F with thunderstorms by 1500.
First batch of peaches packed in cans with a couple bushels to work up.
Adapting to keep moving.

Colorado may have a new high temp.

Pending verification by the Colorado Climate Center and the National Weather Service, Colorado may have hit its all-time hottest temperature on record last month.

A reading of 115 degrees was observed at the John Martin Dam, near Lamar, in southeast Colorado on July 20, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Pueblo’s database.

Colorado’s current all-time hottest temperature on record is 114 degrees, which has been officially set on two different occasions. The most recent instance was in Sedgwick on July 11, 1954. The first 114-degree reading took place on July 1, 1933, in Las Animas.

High Temperatures here this Summer by month.

June-82
July-89
August-83 so far

We had a low of 44 one night as I recall. For as much rain we had this Spring, the opposite is true this Summer.

My thermometer says 109.9F, but it's sitting in the sun.

Hope that's a mistake. Can't even imagine. Got to 87 today. To me it was hot. After a cool, very low humidity weekend it was uncomfortable once again. I'll take cool and cold weather anytime. Can always get warm, tough getting cooled down. Guess I'm adapted to the north. Spent 4th of July at our place in Hilton Head last year and it was awful.

High of 88 and 20% humidity, slight breeze. Perfect.
