I'm sending the fossil tip back to Grant tomorrow. He'll post up some ideas after taking some measurements. In any event, the horse is out of the barn. Oh, and he's on board with Mudbone leather too.

I am hoping Monday will be our kickoff point for this one, if USPS complies. Just as Warren said we'll wait until the piece is in hand. This is a different approach to a build than we are used to- starting in this case with a chosen handle, and that it's Mudbone destined from the get-go too makes it all the more of a fun change up.

I'll send the tanned beaver tail next week for the sheath.

This is outstanding! While I'm not in a position to place my name in the hat to win, with the recent addition of our new daughter, I do look forward to tracking the progress of the build. These are primo materials! It'll be a beast... Very kind of Warren and Pap to donate the materials! Have a good weekend, Jay

Congratulations Jay on the birth of your Daughter. You are welcomed to join the build. There's no obligation to participate in the drawing. I think all of us here would like your input.

I have been trying to resist but the darks forces have prevailed. So, I'm in. Thanks Warren and Mike for the generosity.

Super-congrats on the new baby girl Jay! I escorted my baby girl down the aisle this week and guarantee that funds will be a little shorter here for a while too. So I'll enjoy the show but can't add the dough. Y'all will be glad to know my heart stayed in my chest.....but it was close a few times.
This will be a great build

Thank you Warren and Pap for the donated materials. I'll take part in the build, but forsake the drawing. Sending my goddaughter to college in august. Hopefully, I'll win the lottery.
