Getting back on track. Here is a nice 1970s era Model 16. Note the unusual squared off hilt and Johnson Roughback sheath.

Here is a model 16, 68-72 MFG. seperate S, unlined thong. W/early sheath marked 16 without the W.

I gotta tell ya ... I'm usually not crazy about some of the red micarta out there, but this is REALLY NICE!
Maybe its the blue in it, but I really like it, and the SFG looks great with it and the blade shape!!
