silverknife Knife Enthusiast Registered: 09/15/05 Posts: 2079 Loc: Think Snow	So...I looked at Chief's and Tony's outstanding examples of the TC Special which I have always liked a lot and decided to reread the thread to look at those outstanding knives one more time. When I did, I reread Jesse's post quoting Tom's 1989 letter stating that the knife would only have a forward curved hilt of nickel silver. Of course mine which I posted back then has a lugged hilt of pure fine silver and I did not realize that Tom had made an exception for me. The TC Special in Jesse's post has a brass FC hilt. Are there any other examples of TC Specials with other than forward curved NS hilts?? Interesting stuff.
