A perfect pair of Anniversary knives. I've had the 50th for several years now and got lucky to be picked in the "second round" for the 75th. I am honored to have them both in my collection.
Can't help but wonder, how many "second round" lottery winners there were. Couldn't have been many. So to be fortunate enough to come into it that way is luckier (imo) than being in the initial draw. It's great that it went to a serious collector, especially one that already had a 50th anniversary knife. Who better to win? Great get Bill!
Thank you for the kind words Wally. I think the proper word is "shocked" when I received the letter from Randall that I got one. As I thought it was a done deal and I had missed out in the lottery. I read somewhere, maybe here, that there were 15 knives available in the second round.
