A perfect pair of "four inchers"

The Model 24 "Guardian" & the "Gambler", each with 4" SS blades, the Shop's ivory micarta and fitted with black boot-clip sheaths (not shown).

Trying out my new lighting system. A friend was disposing of his studio equipment, so I bit the bullet and bought four portable Canon 600 copies, and radio trigger.

I upgraded the camera body from the 5D MKII to the MKIII, and bought a like-new Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens to complete the purchase, 4K for all, but worth it. Now, I can take lighting system with me on trips.

Pat, them smartphones are catchin' up. iPhone 6s has a 12 MP camera. Someone has a contraption that snaps onto the iPhone and incorporates wide-angle and telephoto lenses.

Its an "arms race".

Here is another "perfect pair". A Model 12-9", Sportsman's Bowie & a Model 12-8", Bear Bowie, with some of the last Shop-mounted ivory handles on both. Within three months, the 12-9" handle cracked from hilt to butt cap.

Now THOSE should be in my collection. Gorgeous knives Buck!
