Some of those mountain areas in Montana and Idaho, got 4 feet of snow. That's dangerous and surprised we haven't heard of stranded hunters.

Yesterday, it was a high of 99 degrees in Spartanburg, SC!! Ready for cooler weather, and would love to live somewhere where I can see snow!! I'm still waiting for fall! I'm going to a high school football tonight, and I'm sure I will be sweating my tail off!

It's hotter than a two dollar watch. Set new records for this date. Will now set records for the low with 40's at nite. We are going to have no color as it has been so dry for the last two maybe three months. Our trout fishing is put and take but they can't even stock as the stream's have very little water they are stocking in the higher mountain's but not here I guess I am going to have to travel a little if I want to fish. Would move west if I wasn't so damn old.

We finally got some much needed rain it may not have been enough but any helps. The temps are finally what you would expect 40's at night and 50's in the day.

Temps almost 20 degrees cooler in Hilton Head today. Here for 2 weeks, unfortunately we missed Indian Summer in NY. I'll still take what we have here because this is the warmest weather I'll see till we return in late January.
