Am quoting simply to save typing...the knife and high ride sheath MADE for each other. Your gorgeous sheaths from Danny kicked the tires and lit the fires to have something similar made up, but more in keeping with this working girl.

And with my penchant for wearing a thick skinny 25yr old belt plus top heavy Big Brass Butt Bertha, here, kinda could see the knife always ending up canted 45° front or back depending on her whim and not mine if I used Danny's rig. Plus it will end up taking a beating and "correct" not meaning much on something destined to not last long anyhow.

It is real nice, Chief, but is missing a high ride sheath for perfection. I am sure you have the matching saber toothed tiger pelt versions, or a Tyrannosaurus skin version, which modesty has prevented showing, ....so will reward by letting it slide, while we return to the subject of other green monsters.

That would sure look good strapped on your belt while paddling in your pirough along the Bayou Tesch. Nice!!

What beautiful rythm to the words, and a dash of alliteration....you must be either a poet or a Model 19 fan....same thing. (there being green monsters there, as well, I am staying on topic)
