He said maybe 10-12 were made, but certainly in small numbers. We shared some stories but overall it was a nice exchange and he is a very nice man to take my call. Took a few new shots today, hopefully turned out well. I'm sure Mike Mason will chime in. This is one really cool knife and you have to hold it to appreciate the heft and balance.

Definitely a would be a great blade for a user, just to rare!
