If we could get REAL traditional...Brass Back, Brass Lugged...Scalloped Collar...(handle material?)...Brass Scalloped Butt Cap...Hex Nut tang…. No Wrist Thong.

Sambar stag would not have been available on anything made in America in the mid-1800's, but whitetail antlers were sometimes used as well as oak and hickory. The more sophisticated makers like Searles used ebony...but a village smithy would not have had access to it.

I'm up in the air deciding if I want NS. I may do the flip flop on that!! I'm thinking NS would look good if the handle Material is Stag.

NS less maintenance holds value better if all matching hardware.
