Ok, so how about another Southern diet special, Pimento Cheese Spread!! I have a new recipe.
1 8oz package softened cream cheese 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 cup mayo (Helmans or Best Foods) 1 small jar pimentos 1 small can chopped green chilies or jalapenos 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic 1/8 teaspoon powdered onion
Mix well and chill for 1 hour, if you can wait. Try on a Ritz cracker or fresh bread.

stuff into jalapeno pepper halves!
