Right now I have about 5 inches on the ground with a lot more on the way. Some sections in the SE portion of the state are expecting 18+ inches.

Again,this is a very heavy,wet snow.

I guess the drought that they were screaming bout a few months ago is pretty much over.

Mike
We normally have a few robins all winter long. But this winter was so darn cold, I did not see or hear one.
We were away for the month of Feb. When we got home 9 days ago, there were robins singing. Makes one think spring is almost here.

60s and barely a cloud in the sky here.

Wife's veggie garden is 2.5 weeks old, beans are poking up through the soil now.

Warren,
Not this time. Very little wind in Nassau County
and only about 3 inches of wet snow ...
up on the North Shore anyway. a lot more out east.

Tony,

Didn't get what was predicted but they're calling for snow over the next 2 days.
Locals here still say Farmers Almanac had one more major storm for next week.

My area received 8-10 inches yesterday. Some portions of the SE section of the state got 24".
Another storm due for mid next week.

I think, the way things are going, none of this stuff will be cleared out until July!!

Rod Brown,
Where in Ontario? My father in law was in the Trenton area.

Raining hard here this morning. Could have some mud slides if it keeps up.

Yeah, I heard that about next week ...

I'M NOT GONNA SHOVEL OR SNOW BLOW ANYMORE ... I"ll just
drive the car back and forth over it and let the sun melt it away.

Tony,
You do that and you will only wind up with a bunch of hard packed snow and ice and you will never get out!!!!

Just think of this snow removal as a cardio exercise!!!!

I think I best leave right now!!
