OK Crew,
Custom handle material it is, by a vote of 7 to 5. Do to the recent incredible amounts of rainfall we have had, here in Florida, especially in Ocala, I have water damage in my utility room and also water damage in my shop. I have been working diligently to repair the damage, throw out everything ruined and re-design my shop as well as waterproof it as best I can.
I will be pulling out and puttin' it "in the wind" very early friday morning to set up in Hoover, Alabama at the club's gun & knife show. (AGCA: Alabama Gun Collectors Association- which I am a life member of). I will try and get some handle material options together and get pics up..."BUT"...(In this case, a Kim Kardashian "big butt")...I don't know how many options I can show all of you before the show.
How about this: I'll get in touch with Rocky (Yes Rocky, I got your voicemail) and I'll pull out 4 or 5 handle options outta' my STASH. You can vote on them and decide. I have a funeral to attend today...just not enough hours these days.
I have had inquiries as to "how" we are going to chose a winner for this knife. This knife, depending upon sheath choice, could run over $400.00. We can:
A) Post numbers and let everyone chose one with 1 crew member getting
announced as the winner and he/she purchase the knife.
...........................OR............................

B) Allow everyone to buy raffle numbers ($10.00 each or 3 for $25.00)
and draw a winner.
It matters not to me, BUT...ROLL CALL VOTE!! Vote for A or B above.
Stay sharp, Capt. Chris

BTW, Crew,
Rocky's photo of his 3 knives "looks" to me as though the "odd-man-out" is some of my "bone linen" micarta..."&"...I have some available in scales that would accommodate this build.
Stay sharp, Capt. Chris

Capt. Chris--

Since red is not available, I would vote for your material!

At this point...simply defending my material...none of which was at BLADE this year. All of which is the same material, all purchased form the same individual, at the same time, with the exception of one of the slotted blocks, many years ago. a very good illustration of just how it appears different, depending how it's placed in the light.
As I already stated I think it's best to choose other material

:-)Rocky
