Rocky: That one's a "Kamado Joe", which differs from the BGE in that the exterior ceramic wall is twice as thick. I've used it a couple of times to do "low and slow" cooking.

I like to add wood as I go (hence the pile of wood chunks next to the smoker), the kamado style grills don't make that easy.

Also, the water dish in the WSM does a wonderful job of regulating the temp, keeping it in the 220-250 range.

The other half is being saved for a family dinner with the oldest son and his family tomorrow.

We had the 2019 Blalock Reunion on Sunday afternoon with about 65 in attendance.

I fried up five gallons of catfish fillets, onion rings, french fries, and hush puppies.

The ladies all brought all kinds of sides and deserts.

It was all good! For desert, I had a bowl of my Bride's Peach Cobbler with a generous scoop of my brother's Home Made Ice Cream on top.

There were less than 10 pieces of fish left out of 5 big pans that were brimming over.

The group picture does not show the 15-20 teenage garbage disposals that gone fishing down at the lake before we could take the picture.
