Pap, I have never had a Jalapeno with steak. Fried chicken or Bologna sammys...but never steak. I will have to try that.

Great looking Combo!

Eric:

You missin’ out!!

Roast a couple of big ‘uns in the skillet or on the grill, slice ‘em lengthwise, then apply a heapin’ portion of Pappy’s pimento cheese (like he posted) or something similar.

Goes great with steak! Or brisket, ribs, pork chops, hamburgers, hot links, sausage, etc.

Pepper Time!!
I blame this thread!!! all this pepper talk!! as well as the damn cardinals who choose to pick at only the bottoms of the peppers...I finally got tired of running them off, so I picked the harvest....for now...they don't seem to like them when they are green....

Coach, I caught the animals talking about my lack of knowledge on Jalapeno cooking. My whole Jalapenos experience has always come out of an Old El Paso Jar. Ready to eat.

Anybody have any recipes.... please do post some examples of Jalapeno with steak.

HaHa!

Yep. I can hear them now.

Give me a week or so and I’ll do it and I’ll send pics.

Check out my steak with rosemary and jalapeno peppers, and that's all it takes. I will say that I use Suzie Q's Seasoning that is an exceptional garlic salt seasoning and I get some picino beans from them too.

Rocky:

You got me to thinkin' about pepper sauce etc. and my Bride fixed a mess of Collard Greens and Cornbread for Supper tonight.

We ended up having one bottle of homemade pepper sauce out in the ice box out in the shop. (We have to keep it cool lest it catches afire!)

The homemade pepper sauce is in front of the "store bought" stuff.

I see your Tom's peanut jar. Tom's had the very best peanuts, small and nuttier compared to Planters. Too bad they are no longer around.
