Glad you liked them!! My bunch ate all 6 and sopped up all the gravy. Just had to rinse out my Griswold skillet. The recipe is an off shoot of the good old southern hamburger steak and onion gravy, just adds the green chilies to the meat and the gravy.

Didn't know the Iliffs had a gun shop. Also wasn't aware the murder started at Orem's diner. I had a run in with McAllister a year before at one on the old Rock quarries. He was throwing rocks close to where I was fishing. Told him to knock it off. I wasn't armed and another kid I didn't know were there with him. Then he left.

Ranch Dressing Recipe:
Here you go, it's the best and no sugar. 1/4 Cup black pepper 1 1/2 Cup parsley flakes 1/2 Cup garlic salt 2 Tblsp Kosher salt 1/4 Cup Granulated garlic 3/4 Cup Granulated onion 2 Tbsp Dill weed 1/4 Cup dried chives
2 Cups mayo 2 Cups buttermilk 1 1/2 Cups sour cream 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Combine all dry ingredients and store in an airtight jar. Makes about 3 1/2 Cups of dry mix.
To make dressing: Use a hand mixer and mix wet ingredients, then add 2 Tablespoons of dry mix. Makes almost 2 quarts. Mix well and refrigerate for 2 hours. Becomes thicker. Best Ranch recipe ever.

Wayne Thanks for the compliment, but cooking is my way of not going crazy. Many of these recipes are ones that someone else came up with and I may have changed or added a little. Such is this Ranch Dressing recipe. It's a good one and the dry mix part will last a long time. Then all you need to do is combine the wet and dry, wait a couple of hours, and you have a fantastic home made Ranch Dressing that everyone raves about. Add blue cheese or feta for variety. Cheers.

Pappy, Crazy? My late daughter used to say I was lock 'em up and throw away the key crazy!!!
I knew that I was right on track.
When the wife and I would go camping up in Canada,I used to do all the cooking. Cast Iron Dutch Oven did all the work. Used to make roasts and everything in it.
One thing about cast iron cookware,it gets better with use and proper care. Holds the heat just right and no hot spots.
