Model 1's are great, plain Jane or not. Great looking knife.

I miss the knife of the week threads and I think after almost a year has past that some one has collected some new RMK’S! I think we should start going through this all over again starting with the # 1. I hope to see some new knives.

Here is another new member of the family. A little on the new for my taste, but it was just sooo! d*#m nice I had to have it. Model 1-7" SS blade, smooth cape buffalo horn handle, metal spacers, NH and dura buttcap. Beautiful hornback custom croc sheath. I'll love-up on this one awhile and then pass it along to the next lucky guy.

I'm looking for my own old Randall No. 1. It has (had,maybe) my name, Michael R. Allen on the blade; carbon, stag, aluminum butt, brass hilt and dark rivot sheath. It also had the original 1967 catalog and letter in an envelope with Lt. Michael Allen address. I was hard up about 15 years ago and had to sell a few items to keep my house. I sold it to Rhett and he re-sold it soon thereafter and doesn't have a record of who he sold it to. If I can find the now-owner, I would make it worth their while to sell it back to me. Thanks-
